Happy New Year from Bruce, Mark
and Ann!

We are all looking forward to a
great year in 2010 but
first we'll just take a quick glimpse back
at 2009.
It was a mixed year for diving
with vis we normally only dream about earlier in the year. By
September the weather and conditions
were conspiring against us to make finishing several Advanced Open Water Courses challenging to say the least.
Well done to Kasia in particular, who
impressed us by surfacing from a dive with less than 12 " vis with a HUGE
smile on her face! We hope you enjoyed your holiday.
Congratulations to all of you who
completed courses with us, we look forward to seeing you again soon! Good
luck to Gareth with your university course.
Pete, Doug and Anna deserve a
special mention. Thanks for giving us so much entertainment during your Open Water course. The look on Doug's face when he surfaced after diving the Leysian was
priceless! Teenagers aren't all bad after all!
Congratulations too for Mike and
Hazel on the arrival of your baby boy.
Of course we ended the year with our
usual trip to Safaga, with Tom and Mimi. It was lovely to meet Dunya Diana
- she is a real beauty.

Thanks to Jerry, Rob, Pippa,
Simon, Big Bob, Sarah, Kiki and Tony for coming along and helping to make it
another enjoyable visit.
In fact it's one trip that will probably never be forgotten.
Needless to say it won't just be
because of the diving!

If you didn't come we can show
you some of the entertainment on our DVD next time you come down to Abercastle. (Its provided mostly by Tony
and only those with a really strong constitution should watch)

We are itching to get
back in the water again but we are using the time this cold and icy weather has
given us to make plans to ensure that we can
make 2010 as interesting as possible for all of you.
Whether you are just
looking for boat hire, escorted dives or you want to further your training with
another course just give us a ring (or email) and we will arrange a day or three
or a weekend to suit you.
For those of you who just want
to dive we have discovered some
interesting new dive sites for you to explore and we are all looking forward
to showing you around.

There's nothing we like more than hunting in all
the nooks and crannies for critters to show you so don't forget to bring
your
cameras along.
Don't forget if you have done
your Seasearch training and you want to record some of your dives just let us
know and we will give you all the help we can. You don't just have to do Seasearch
organised dives in order to send in a form.

The Dark Lord (Mark) is already twitching to get back in the water again
so if you want something a bit
more exhilarating he will be more than happy to take you out.
Here's hoping the weather will be
kind to us this year.....
Malta
For those of you who don't want
to wait for the water to warm up here before you can go diving again, we are planning a Malta trip for the middle of
April.
Hopefully blue skies and being
able to dive in a wetsuit in April...what more could you ask for?
We
can run this trip with a minimum of just six people but the more the merrier.
For those of you who have been on Bruce's tours before you know it is about far
more than just the diving!
Totally different
to our Red Sea trips, Malta diving can be challenging but it is immensely
rewarding. If you've never been before make the most of Bruce's experience
to show you the best that Malta has to offer.
All shore based, there will be plenty of
wrecks to choose from
amongst a good choice of dive sites. Each
day will be planned according to the prevailing winds. No doubt there will be
the usual contests to see who can get the deepest and the longest.
